FYI to Berman, Danny, Capt Shiner, etc..
Was an outrageous day, but yes generally small fish until the afternoon, then they got abut 10 or so keepers. 18, 14, 13, 11 pounds. flat calm, birds for miles, big herring being chased. this is what November is usually like here, but Ill take it. Pulled the boat, washed and covered it and stowed it away until April. sad but looks like it is gonna get cold
Camera out of batteries but got a few shots on my phone which are bad but are proof atleast!!!
Have a good Holiday season-wish me luck in Panama!!

Brendan,
Awesome report my friend! Wish I had action like that around here this late in the season, if I did I would insure the boat for the whole year instead of only through November. I hope your holidays are happy and merry, wish the wife and kids a Merry Christmas for me and have a safe and fun vacation in Panama.

brendan's report was the same as ours, although we split before the bigger keepers found us. tons of fish, only 2 borderline keepers... but amazing to be out on the atlantic ocean a week before xmas and catching 50 stripers on the fly. happy holidays to everyone, thanks to everyone for info and help and friendship this year.

Good work Brendan! We went the other way... not one boat, acres of fish (albeit smaller) and it was a bit calmer. Had 20 or so on topwater, go figure. Water temp was 48.5-50.3. Bass slurping herring 20 ft from the boat like trout. Glad to see ya found the bigger ones. Happy holidays! :-%
On the positive note of these great reports -- as its now snowing and expected high is 20 tom'w -- maybe its time now to welcome a special guest to the Reel-Time forum . . . . .

Classic, Frank. well said. I have never been so bummed to see the end of a season. Looking forward to some Bonefishing the first week of March as well. Probably Tranquility Hill in Andros again, maybe this will be your year to come with us. Haven't solidified everything since I have been fishing so much, but will do that in mid-jan. I am sure it is the same as last year 6 nights-5 days guided fishing all included for $1925. Have 5 people solid so far just based on last year, will probably end up with 8 I guess. Will ring you when I talk to them.
Happy Holidays to all

McTrout, timing is everything, and you did it just right. Glad you had a great last shot at the beautiful beasts on Saturday, and glad you got the boat out , otherwise you'd be locked in I suspect.
