Need Ideas

I'm tying up some Striper patterns, I came across a nice grizzly blue hackle I never did anything with. I need some pattern ideas. :confused:

Can you say Herring..........any style you want, decievers, flatwings, featherbrains.....that blue grizz is a great color and works for any tye of herring pattern. Check back in the posts in fly tying, capt. steve moore ties some great looking flies with different color grizz hackles........Good tying

black and blue makes a nice squid for fishing on dark nights.....
tail: about 8 blue griz feathers leave some of the fluff at the base mix some flash on the outside
glue big doll eyes or 3d eyes to the feathers
body: black and blue rabbit strip (tied in together) bonita bunny style
