My "Ultimate Minnow" fly...

Hey gang,

Remember my "Ultimate Shrimp" fly? Well, I just can't get enough of epoxy patterns and while playing around, I came up with a method of extending the body of epoxy flies (paper-clip extension on the hook). Simple really but sure creates a neat effect. I'm sure I'm not the first to do this but it's been great just discovering it for myself.

It works with a loop of heavy mono as well which is what I did with these spoon flies. The epoxy easily bridged fron the flattened tubing to a rim of mono. Fun to play around with.
