Coming to California

Hey! I am coming to California (Irvine) to work for the next few weeks. I don't know what my schedule is or if I will have any time to wet a line, but I am wondering if there are any fishing opportunities in the Irvine or nearby beach areas at this time of year. Any advice is much appreciated!!
