I am offering three different trips down to the Amazon for Peacock Bass fishing. All three are for the Rio Negro that is operated by Amazon Tours. The dates are as follows:
Feb. 18-27
Feb. 25-March 6
March 4-13
I am asking $3900 per person.
The rate includes:
Airfare (Miami-Manaus)
all transportation while in Brazil
Gear & tackle
boats & guide
lodging, meals, open bar
Everything is included except tips.
I can also send groups of up to 6 people.
These date are towards the end of the season when the waters are lower. This is good for the flyfisherman because you are able to sight fish in the lagoons for big peacocks. Also take a 6-7wt. for the Paca and Butterfly peacock. I waded small sandy flats for these fish in inches of water. Checkout the back of the new Abel catalog for a picture of Bob from Casa Blanca with his 14 lbs. Paca.
The rate is a steal compared to the normal rate of $4250(without airfare)
