Hi guys- Wanted to throw this out to anyone interested, I read some posts about guys looking to join a group trip...
Looking for 3-4 more anglers (group will consist of 8 or 9). For Southern Mexico Pacific side. Date not in stone yet flexible between April1-14th.
Mexico will be on the southern Pacific coast below Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa region, well below the tourist areas. First night will be spent in a small quaint town south of the twin cities where we can unwind relax eat/drink and get to know everyone a little. Day two get up and will transported south to a beach house we will be renting (only our group) and using as base camp, very nice, great staff & food. Sleeps 8-10 and has an upstairs with billards, darts and entertainment. Off we go fishing - we will be seperating into parties of two for pangas and inshore fishing. Focusing on rooster fish, jacks and beach roaming species. Same for days 3 & 4 (we also have the options for whoever wants) to go slightly offshore for sailfish on fly (small tunas and dorado available). I am planning in an open day to do whatever we want- options are exploring by horseback or quadrunners. Some wingshooting or even mountain trout fishing.
For those willing to spend their days on and around pristine beaches, few species, focused fishing, fabulous beaches backed immediately by the dry Sierra Madres. Still working on some details/price but great inexpensive trip all inclusive (except international flight) for a aprox. $1800/person.
