Thanks to everyone who posted on my last thread concerning old fly equipment and how it should be used...after weeks of searching I have finally found my grandfather's old fly rod. It is in mint condition, he obviously took great care of it, and I am definitely saving this one to hang up on my wall. All that is written is the brand name "Pacific" inscribed inside a small fish on the side,it is definitely made out of some type of wood and is stained a nice light brown with green paint surrounding the threads. Any information on the material, quality, brand and value of this rod would be greatly appreciated :)

I don't know the specific rod you're talking about, but it sounds like a bamboo rod. Although many are not, bamboo rods can be worth alot of money. You should get it appraised.
