live lining question

I know folks "live line" with Mackeral & Pollack...but have any of you guys tried using those reddish/orange colored fish called "cunner" that live in the weeds and rocks close to shore.

The cunner seem to be pretty easy to catch so It might make for an easy bait source...any thoughts?

We call-em choggies, and have seen them work.

they work fine, but are not as hardy as pollack or macs.
