For you carp fans, read the front page of today's Wall Street Journal. See article titled "For some anglers, the lowly carp is a $1 million catch". Article discusses carp and the World Carp Angling Championships coming to the US along with a $1 million prize. If you go to the WSJ website you need to log in to access the article so I didn't bother providing the link.

One of the guys I work with is trying to get sponsors together for that tournament. His personal best is a 45 lb carp, and his son got a 54 lb fish before. :eek: They go all over the place fishing for carp, including as far as Texas. I sent him an email about it and he came over and starts telling me who all of the people on the site are. Apparently he's friends with the founder of the ACS too. It was pretty funny. :) He offered to take me out fishing for them this summer. He's got tons of pictures of 20+ and 30+ lb fish in his cube that him and his son have caught!
