I'm at bentley college in waltham....definately interested in a little ice fishing. I have my car here so I can go to wherever. I have heard of a few reports of good action on the north shore, but that is a bit of a hike. Anything I can do to help out, please let me know.
Best, JJ

Despite having to work, I squeaked out a couple of hours on A1 this morning. Ice was booming due to the cold causing it to freeze. Did get a bass and a pickeral. Guys beside me got a few real nice bass along with many smaller fish.

Bob, are you in for monday? probably better ice out your way. But there is a spot near Bentley. SK I graduated from there twice.
I'm not just a baitshop boy, I'm also a Bentley MBA...(which is good prep for being a baitshop boy!)

Unfortuneately I work monday. Private schools do not take all the same holidays as public schools. My only hope is that the storm is good enough to create a snow day.http://www.reel-time.com/forum/images/smilies/bawling.gif

I was out yesterday from 2:30 - 4:30 at Lake Winthrop and we caught a fat pickeral, small bass, and a lazy catfish. Ice is good for skating, well until this morning. Ice was thinner than two weeks ago but was strong enough to support a snow mobile and plenty of ice fisherman & skaters. Ice near the boat ramp was melted due to the sun, making it tricky to get to the ice via the ramp. Ice near the beach was fine though.

Made it out with Soundking and we had a crappiefest. Nothing on bait. Ice was plenty thick and we were inside rt 128!
