Cabin fever has officially taken hold of me. Last night I was up tying flies untli 1 am, even though I have to get up at 4:45 for work. (#$119) I've heard that you can fish the Swift River year-round, and I think it might be time to give it a shot. Anybody have any info for me? Is it worth my time?

used to go to school out that way and fished once in the dead of winter (cold day in early feb) there with limited success but did pretty well around this time of year through early april. the fish are there and if you pick sunny warmer afternoons they should be relatively active. small dark nymphs worked well for me. good luck.

Haven't been there since January, but you can fi**** all year round. I would wet a line. Its better than sitting on one's arse waiting for the warm weather.
