What a great day to be out on the ice this weekend. It was so bright, my face is sunburned. With no wind saturday morning you could take of the heavy outer coats and be comfortable. The day started off with a bunch of pickeral but as the day wore on the bass caught up 10 fish in all spread through the day with a number of missed flags made for a good day.
Tried Chauncey on sunday but got skunked.
I'll hit A1 one more time this weekenk but if there is cape ice I go there on sunday.
Who's up for A1 this saturday?

Is this the westborough A1? If so, I may be able to make it.

There area has been a bit busy lately so I will be trying to be on the ice by 7am. My plan is to go to the left of the island. Some Guys I was fishing by last saturday got 1-4# and 2-#3 bass. I'll be wearing orange hunting coat.

It's always fun when a group of RT-ers get together, regardless of how the fishing goes. The day was a decent one with the tips ups producing bass, pickeral and even a hornpout. Had a 4-5 pounder halfway out of the hole when the hook dropped off.
Jigging with mousies caught in bass, pickeral, crappie and many sunfish.
