Hi Guys!
I'm new here, so pardon me if these rods have already been discussed.
I'm looking for a combo rod for freshwater (salmon/steelies) and saltwater (bones/redfish) in an 8-weight. I have tried both rods, and like each for slightly different reasons. I can cast both well enough with a little adjustment. (I will be using a Ross BG-5 on the winner.) The Sage is $366 delivered and the St. Croix is $272 delivered.
Any advice to help me decide?
