I was Fishing in Connecticut with some friends who were teenagers (im only 11). They were brothers. The younger brother dropped a cinder block on a giant dead jellyfish we found on the beach. The jellyfish instantly liquefied and shot straight into the older brothers face. Then the sting receptors started stinging him. If he wasnt in shock he would have killed his younger brother.
I know it wasnt about me but it was funny as heck when it happened.

While fishing in Scorton's Creek this past January for holdovers, I snag something on my lure that felt like dead weight. Well I was right about 'dead'. I had somehow hooked a partially decayed head of a schoolie striper (in the mouth no less). I did catch some live bass that day.
Also, while fishing in Indian Head in Pembroke for shad around 10 years ago, I waded out in the river and finally hook my first shad. As I'm fighting him, a guy asked if I brought a net to which I answer no. He then asked if I needed help (he had a net) to which I said no. I get the fish near me (I'm wading in water above my waist and up to about 6" below the top of my waders) and tried to cradle it into my arms. It thrashed and slapped me in my face with it's tail and got away. I left immediately and went up the street to the MVP Sports in Hanover to buy a net. After my purchase, I went right back to the river and scored almost immediately upon my return --127-3- .
