questions re: fishing around pilgrim nuke plant

I know a 'no access zone' was established a couple of years ago around the pilgrim plant, but I'm wondering whether one could still get close enough in a boat to realize some advantage from the warm water outflow (even if it's 1/2 mile away)? In other words, do you have an opinion about whether there's any early season advantage to fishing for cod or stripers in this area (versus off gurnet/green harbor/north river)?

And if anyone can point me to a map or graphical view of the 'off limits' area, that'd be helpful. Thanks!

The "Restricted Area" is clearly marked by red/white nuns and two lighted markers at the North and south end. I think it is 1000 yards from the outflow at the closest point but I'm not positive on the exact distance. :confused:
FWIW, I have not bother fishing there in the early spring but that area still holds bait (& bluefish) in the summer stretching out beyond the restricted area.
