LOOP reels have changed name

Since Feb this year, LOOP no longer has the distribution and marketing rights to the Danielsson reels, marketed and known as LOOP reels. (Danielsson is the name of the guy who developed the first large arbor reel, back in 1983 if I remember correctly).

Reading from the website it seems that Danielsson have decided to go their own way. While doing this they have lowered the prices with approx 40%, not sure how long it will last.

I just wanted to let you know... I have no economic interest in their businesses.

Interesting. I called Rajeff Sports a couple of weeks ago (former NA distributor of Loop) re; Loop rods and was told they are no longer distributing. I was probably told more than I should have been, but they said issue was with reels, not rods. Your info below offers some clarity.
