Is West Washacum part of the Wachusett system and therefore goverened by the same April 9th opening day? Eddy or PJT could you shed some light? Sped

AFAIK, it's not governed by the April 9 date. But it's on the other side of town from me, I don't know what the ice situation is on the lake right now. I'll try to drive by on my way home tonight and shoot you a PM.

Hate to reply to my own post, but I was wrong about Waushacum and the Quag not being part of the Wachusett watershed management area.

I cruised by both bodies of water on my way home tonight - both are icebound. There are signs around West Waushacum noting that opening day will be April 9, and that the date could be pushed back depending on ice conditions.

Thanks EM. Didn't know that. There's another pond that I had some decent luck at. Can't remember the name of it but it's right down the road in Clinton behind the schools. There's a road that leads in between it. I have found the right side fishes better than the left. It's stocked as well. Pretty decent bass in there too.

That's South Meedow Pond on one side and Mossy Pond on the other.........I must say I am somewhat shocked at our discovery that the Quag has the same "season" as the Resi.....Sped
