Yesterday Wolfeboro Bay was out except there was a lot of ice on Brewster Beach shore, Melvin Bay looks ou as far as one can see. The Broads were still closed in yesterday, but after today's warmth and the steady breeze, I believe it will be out fully this week.

I put in Alton yesterday and trolled for salmon for the afternoon/eve. We got one measly 13"er for our valiant efforts! It was a beauty of a day, which I think was our problem. I am fairly sure we have a good setup, and were moving at a good speed, but the nice day and calm wind was our problem. Talked to a few other guys and they said the same. The fish were down at like 30' on the finder. Still a little slush out beyond Alton Bay, but should be clearing up with today and the weather we are having. We will give it another try on not such a nice day.

Cheers
