so i took my two girls 4 and 5 fishing at a local pond with a can of worms we dug, caught two small sunfish that we put in a bucket to take home to put in a small pond in the yard, when the 4 yr old hooks a sunfish and just before she pulls it onto the beach a 6lb largemouth inhales it and swims off.....i wish i had a camera, with a bit of help she landed one of the biggest largemouth i've caught....we let it go after a quick debate about the size of the pond and the resident goldfish.....

That's great! Little kids love big fish. I'm sure she's still talking about it.

they were both jumping up and down, it was a riot...she kissed it on the head before i let her go....were gonna head back down after work to drown a few more worms, might have to bring the 8 wt and a handful of streamers..
