Fished the incomer this morning in the danvers river from shore. Arrived at around 5:15 and found fish stacked up in the channel, fairly easy fishing, but the fish were quite small. As the tide began to move up fish started coming out of the deeper water and feeding actively over mudflats where they were breaking on small bait. Time to break out the 5 and some page's floaters! Nothing quite like micro bass on the five in less than three feet of water...May fishing is great, isn't it? Had a ball playing with the little guys until 7:30 when it was time to leave for work. Overall a solid morning and a ton of fish are actively feeding in the river systems. I'm going to fish outside tonight, will post results as I have a feeling that there are some big fish outside given all the bait out there.

Nice! I was on the Beverly Side, by the park just above the kirnwood from 5:30- 6:00 AM, I fished the flat off the point a bit with a small gibbs plug that I was testing out. I didn't anything besides, 1 swirl. My side kick was joined by another Lab, so I ended throwing the ball more than the plug. I will be back out tonight with the fly. Not sure where I'll start, but I'll be sure to end by the bridge under the lights.

SK are you towards mouth and from a boat? I did really well all last week in danvers river but can't find fish this week at any tide, time or place so i trekked up to PI today (which I can't complain about)
