saturday hiked out to the tip of hardings with a buddy and landed probably 20 fish between the 2 of us in a couple hours..... bright clousers fished on the bottom, pink or with some red flash, nothing big but steady action and a beautiful day made it all worthwhile.....
sunday waded the brewster flats from quivett creek east..... was wet wading so the chilly water took the starch out of me early in the tide.... no fish seen, no fish landed, didn't see anybody else with action either.....

Yipes! Wet wading the north side in May. That water must have been cold. I usually don't wet wade out there till the middle/end of July. Water stays warm till early Fall.

Sunday yielded the same results from Hardings. Again bright flies were the only takers and nothing bigger than schoolies.

Surprising about Brewster Flats, the lack of action. Usually by now it's hopping, but everything seems two weeks off. I was across from Hardings on Sunday (Stage Hbr entrance) and only managed one twinkie. The water was colder than I would have expected and the tide was extremely high. Morris Isl/The Tub was better, especially early at dead high to early outgoing.
