It's bass bustin' time --127-3- No bananas on the boat, temps up-and-down between 57 and 60 and my two favorite girls tanning on the front of the boat in their bikinis. Another angler in a blue bluefin doing the same :^). It doesn't get much better. Slammin BASS at my super secret UDL by the red can #14. Oops...
Spent Friday and Sat in Chatham. Cold, fog, it's been tough over there. Joe, over at Top Rod tells me he's been hitting big fish. I wasn't out, but he did a great job rigging some new line on a Penn fly reel. Fifty two bucks (cheap :^)with backing AND I asked to change backing from orange to green. And, he did it, no charge. Plus a life time warrantee on the line. Nice guy. Stop in and say hello.
And it begins. If your waiting for the season to start? It starts now.
PS, I'm looking to charter a second boat for some BBFT fishing on Tue/Wed before Aug 18 (I'm getting married on the 18th in Chatham. You provide the ice, I'll provide the girls in bikinis :)
