We fished Cotuit Sunday in Rolands 17’ Parker, and took about 20 to 25 bass each up to 20" on spinning and fly gear. The fish were taken from a number of locations within the bay with North bay being the prime spot. Many of the fish were wearing sea lice and all were bright appearing so I assume they are recent migrants.
It felt good to have a striper tugging on my line after all these months, the best time of the year has finally arrived. Lets hope we all enjoy this season and the striper population remains healthy to provide many years of fishing pleasure.

We have a vacation house and a brand new Mako 19 on North Bay. Expect to be there from the 6th to 16th and will post any successes. For years I've heard about catching keepers in North bay during the herring run; maybe this year....
