Tried the Cooles and Lees Rivers this AM- outgoing and only caught the skunk. Tried again tonite-in coming and almost got skunked again(weed and wind) but I went to the north end of the Kickemuit and finally broke the year 2000 jinx. Managed one 14" fresh schoolie. The water there was cleaner and noticeably warmer than in the Coles or Lees, the later two are really tanin stained. While I was out in the AM I stopped at the Bristol Narrows and noticed more lions mane jellyfish than I've seen in Swansea's rivers. Maybe there is still too much fresh water with its contaminants for the stripers liking? ron
