Any late word from the cape? (Mashpee area)

I am heading down to Mashpee for a sales meeting
over the next couple days. Any late word on the bite
in the area? I will try to get out this afternoon
and early tomorrow morning.

I'll post my results after I return. It is supposed to
get windy later - may have to forsake the flyrod for
more aerodynamic spoons/plugs....

You should do fairly well in the esturaries and pehaps along the beaches, weather has been so bad that there have not been a lot of fishermen out. E mail me if you'd like more specific info.

Fished the inlet and out on the jetty at Waquoit today. Nothing doing. Rain early, then brisk wind in early afternoon. Saw no stripers, no bait, no bird activity except around trawlers working just offshore. Caught end of incoming and first two hours or so of outgoing tide. Used Teeny 200, clousers, deceivers.
