Many Thanks in advance.

I lived an hour from Vancouver for 7 years and it is the best city you can imagine.

What to see:

Stanley Park (walk around the sea wall, go to aquarium and zoo).
Granville Island Market (a must-see).
Capilano Suspension Bridge.
Museum of Anthropology (a must-see).
Forget about Gastown (it is a tourist area); go to Chinatown instead.
Walk down Denman Steert in the evening to eat, drink, and people-watch.
Walk through the Law Courts Building at Robson Street to see some absolutely incredible architecture by Arthur Erickson.
If you get out to Vancouver Island, see the Butchart Gardens and also the Inner Harbor at Victoria.

Where to eat:

Be sure to eat Dungeness crab, especially in the Chinatown restaurants.

"Tojo's" (on West Broadway) for the best sushi in North America.
"The Pink Pearl" (in Chinatown) for fantastic family-style Chinese food.
"The Green Door" (in Chinatown) for down the alley atmosphere and great crab).
"The Only" (Trudeau's favorite) for eclectic inner-city atmosphere (have the smoked black cod).
"Il Corsaro" (in the Italian section) for great Italian food.
"Mum's Gelato" on Denman Street for real Italian gelato.
Avoid the ubiquitous sushi shops on every block - go to "Tojo's".
There is a great Greek restaurant on the North side of Denman Street (I can't remember it's name, but my wife is still talking about it).

Now I'm hungry!

I was in Vancouver last summer. There is a greek restraunt a few shops down from the "Anglers' West" on West Broaday, Anglers west is a fly shop. I stopped by their briefly before I headed north.

The Greek Restarunt, was a small place. The owner had a famous greek restarunt previously in Vanocouver that was apparently really popular. VicT-I wonder if it were the same owner (#$119) This place was so good, it puts any greek place here in the boston area to shame......
