People have been asking many questions about the event so I thought I would post again.
WHAT TIME DOES IT START? -The shop(561 thames) will open at 6am, the derby goes from 7am-7pm, awards are at 7:30-must be present to claim prizes(KA Rod, hackles, signed books).
CAN I FISH ALONE? -No, you must fish in pairs. If you don't have a partner we will assign you one. You must fish from shore here on the Island.
DO I HAVE TO FISH ALL DAY? -No, you may fish as little or much as you choose.
WHAT DO I GET IF I WIN? -Largest Fish-$100 gift certificate to the shop. -Most Fish pair-Ken Abrames fly rod, 2nd most fish pair-2 KA's hackle necks, 3rd pair-signed striper moon and perfect fish, Skunk award-signed stripers and streamers!
The shop will open at 6am and we will provide you with map, tape measure, and Ray's fly. The event is free to enter-do not miss this one!!
