North or South?

Heading out on Sat. for first sbft attempt this year. Have definite plans to fish north on Sunday (charter with first light). My question is for Sat. Will be fishing from 23 ft. walkaround. Trying to sort out which direction to head in. I've heard south is good. any tips folks can give, pm me. I'll forego the begging, pleading, and just ask nicely (damn tuna fever has me delerious)

we were faced with the same decision. my friend's boat is north, mine is south. we had both boats gassed and ready, but they were predicting fog south (which changed at the last minute), so we decided to go north. it seems like it might still be too early for consistent action north, the key word being consistent. we're heading south next time.
