Loreto and Bahia Magdalena Baha Mexico?

Hi,

I am planning a Christmas trip to Loreto and Bahia Magdalena Baha Mexico and wanted to get some feedback from anyone who has fished these areas. I have fished around East Cape Baha before so I know the general scene. I have a great book called Baha Catch which gives some general fishing details for these areas but I think that some of the info is out of date. We will be flying into Loreto on the Sea of Cortez side of Baha and will rent a car to explore Bahia Magdalena on the Pacific side. I am not sure which of these areas will be better for fishing. I have heard that fishing around Loreto has been impacted by over fishing, any comments about this? I will be bringing my 10 wt fly rod as well as traditional baitcasting/trolling gear. We will have kayaks so we can both beach fish and kayak fish. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
