Never fished for SBFT before...but looking to try it out. Any recommendations for a charter here on the north shore?

It would only be one person, so I'm looking for something reasonably priced.

Theres gonna be a few snagaroos. I would reccomend first light anglers, but if you act now, you can probably get some dates for september....of 2006. They're that good. Call anyways and see what they are up to, might have had some cancelations and could accomodate you.

Second, this is north shore tuna fishing. Expect to put between 50-135 miles on the boat per trip. OPEC are rapists, and accordingly tuna charters are highly expensive. Some names other than first light that are good are north shore charters (either mark or dave) out of beverly, peter yukins out of beverly, john perie out of manchester, randy sigler out of marblehead, and me later in the season.

How about just hanging around r-t for a bit to see if anybody needs a crew member for an outing. Probably won't be geared up as well as the charter guys but you'll at least get your feet wet with sbft.
