Busting Blues

Folks-

This is more or less advertisement for those thinking of yaks and a Dad beating his chest a bit. In any event, we were in West Dennis last week and spent a couple hours each morning running and gunning blues on peanuts. Attached is a pic of Joey (age 12) in the thick of things. It was a lot of fun! Yaks are a blast.

I've been fishing the south side of Dennis all summer. Last weekend including Monday has been a blast. blues everywhere. Anyone who fishes for stripers after catching blues are nuts. They are like a school of pirana on steroids.

Nothing wrong with 2-Pound Blues :) Best way to get a kid into the fly thing if you ask me.

On a side note, I checked my favorite south side Blue Crab holes and found that this is to be another slow season. Saw three doubles in two hours. Crabin is another good way of getting kids OTW.
