Hi Guys,
I own an eddyline Sandpiper that I use in Bays and salt rivers. Any suggestions on making the plastic seatback more comfortable? This is a very lightweight kayak. That's why I like it.
For open water (Cape southside) I prefer my Pungo.

You can get a foam backrest which should help with your problem. Check out the Goose Hummuck in Orleans they should have it. FishHawk

I call Eddyline and they sold me an air inflatable paddle float that doubles as a seat back. it is the most comfortable seat I've sat in. I was in the kayak for three hours yesterday catching stripers non-stop in Bass River and my back never bothered me
