just got back in....took my yak out OTW from 5:30 till 7:30. spotted fish finning & swirling around 6:00...hooked up quickly on a 7" fin-S. a few more fish and i got the only keeper of the morning. action was spotty...i'd move around a bit looking for a faint rip and hook one here and there. spotted peanuts in the shallows, making the water nervous, but never saw fish bust on them. oddly...the keeper only had a small, extremely fresh lobster inside of it. took one final fish on top with a white spook. a good way to start the day, all in all...
