I'll appologise that this report will be kind of short and sweet since I'm tired and I have to work in a few hours.

I met Steve and his Dad in Bourne at 0700. We went into CC Bay to look for bass and blues on lite gear and possibly tuna. We ran out to an UDL and found fish marking on the bottom, but they would not eat. Hind sight being 20/20 we should have waited longer than the 1.5 hours we did, since the place blew up later in the day.

After leaving the UDL we ran to Race point and found plenty of action. The guys did a few bluefish before the eel rod went off and Kevin landed a nice 38.5" & 20# bass.

When the action slowed we ran farther out and found tons of blues and a few scattered tuna. Not really wanting more blues we returned to the bay. WE chased several pods of picky tuna before returning to the UDL. WE were informed earlier that it went off and we were hoping for an afternoon blitz. What we found was all the big blues and dogs you could want. No bass at this time.

Ended the day with a final tally of 1 nice bass, plenty of big blues (more if we wanted them) and a few dogs. Water temps ranged from 60-70 degrees. The fish were in water from 10-100' and the tuna were scattered just about everywhere we went.

Overall we put in allot of miles and got some decent fish, but not quite what I was hoping for. I had some solid intel from yesterday and I just didn't let it mature today. Had I waited a while longer I think we would have had a banner day. I just can't sit with a customer twiddling my thumbs for long. I start to feel like a real slacker. Today that would have been the thing to do. you win some you loose some, today I'll give myself a draw.

Terry did you get my VM? Sorry I didn't catch you earlier yesterday, was in Newport and no access to RT. Give me a call soon and we'll talk.
