I'm fishing the canal late last night, and I observed the Greenpeace boat passing through heading west. First time I've ever see her in the canal.
Any ideas what they were/are up to in this area?

She was in Boston Harbor this week, maybe getting some work done over by the East Boston drydock.

I believe I saw some blurbs in the CCTimes about them coming to wave the flag against the Sound windfarm project.

My bad... Greenpeace is in FAVOR of the windfarm.

There was an article in the CC Times this last week that they were here to try to get support for the windfarm. They were going to show off the boat as part of the effort.

Oh, I thought they might have been in town to protest the obnoxious Scallop Fest. --125-3

Apparently they plan to be in Woods Hole on Monday offering tours of their boat.

The problem with those windmills is it could make some fish structure, thereby causing an overharvesting and crowding problem when boaters figure it out. Plus, the blades are hell on a flyline.

Heck they would probably sink a big fence around them anyway, make a fish farm while they are at it.

Perhaps my boat didn't sink...it was torpedoed!
