Went down to Rhody on Thursday in the tin boat looking for albies. Hooked into one. The fishing for bass and blues was outstanding. Launched at Barn Island for the morning, fished along Watch Hill with no luck. Went over to Quonny Breachway and outside. Saw lots of blues on the surface and some albies. Seems the albies didn't want to stay on the surface long enough to get a cast into them. Any ideas? Anyone been out their chasing them?

you can still catch them blind casting.... they feed in regular patterns, try to figure that out and follow the movements of the fish. predict where they are going to show up and get there first.
are you fly or spin casting? if you are spin casting you should go with a splasher and feather.... great to bring them up when they are down below.
