I finally scored 2 fish around forty pounds on the same outing...not on the little plastic baits with jigheads but with a Yozuri mack swimmer(Mag swimmer?) and the second on a home made pearl spook. What a gas! The keeper had a stomach full to the brim with the tiny crill/shrimp. I got several hits on the spook moving it fairly slowly, making a nuisance of itself...kapow!

Just came back from an outing today(Friday) and saw no fish at all...they could be history(moving to the south shore) or only to be replaced by the larger brothers, I hope. Just thought I'd share the off the board/unconventional weapon strategy for those with tuna frustration like me.

Congrats.

Heading out in the AM. If you don't mind me asking....where were you today? North Shore? We'll be on the South Shore.

Tuna caught last Thursday at the Dumping Grounds between the North Shore and Stellwagen Bank, NWC. Today that area and others dead, including B bouy and BF bouy and just south of there. The fish could light up the South Shore waters, who knows?

Good luck!
