Anyone see any action on the beaches on the South Shore in Mass? My brother and I are looking to hit anywhere from Weymouth to Plymouth. Head some good things about Cohasset beaches (Glades, Blackrock). ANyone know how to get to those beaches?

You shouldn't have a problem parking at any of the beaches this time of year. There hasn't been any birds off Cohasset or Scituate (according to reports it looks like they are all in Boston Harbor), so the conditions might look like the middle of Aug instead of the Fall. I'd take a look at Peggoty Beach in Scituate, then maybe cruise down to Green Harbor in Marshfield (I think there is a jetty you can fish from), then head to Duxbury Beach and take a walk. At Duxbury you can fish the ocean side and also walk over to the bay, where there has been consistent action this fall.

Like Flynny said, the South Shore beaches, especially Scituate/Cohasset have been pretty dead lately, with a small bass still hanging around in the North/South rivers. If your willing to drive up to Weymouth or Hingham, it may be in your best interest to check out some spots there as there has been good action in Boston Harbor for about 6 weeks. World's End in Hingham might be a good spot to try, and possibly Pt Allerton in Hull.
If you're insistent on fishing Cohasset/Scituate, check in at Belsan's in Scituate, they'll let you know if anything's going on off the beaches.
Plymouth/Dux may be a good bet too, I'm just less familiar with that neck of the woods.
