well, while Hurricane/storm stan has brought disaster to parts of southern mexico and central america, it didn't cause the same damage to the southwest pacific coast of Mexico. In fact the heavy rains have filled the rios and large volumes of river water are dumping into the waters around San Agustinillo, carrying large volumes of debris and feed to the sea line.
Fishermen around our place are reporting large numbers of roosters and the dorado are finding the debris fields a haven for their predatory antics.
I am heading down in a week for several months and i am looking forward to fishing the debris and river flows.
(our village is putting a care package together for those who are displaced by STAN, and I am sure all aid would be welcome)
