Has anyone else used these new rods? I got the chance to use some of the spinning rods over the summer while fishing for SBFT. I enjoyed fishing the spinning rods because they were fast action and I was able to really cast the lure like a bullet and when I hooked up I could really put some pressure on the fish. I am thinking of getting one of the casting rods for use as a rod for fishing big lures, deep jigging and SBFT. If you have any opinions on these rods I would love to hear it or if you have any rods that you think will work better for what I am looking to do with it. For a reel I have a calcutta 400 that I think will work for the 7ft rod 12-25lb test. Or model PBR843C.
