New to the Board

I ran into a guy named Larry Backman the other day and turned me onto this board as a great place to discuss Fly Fishing and just fishing in general. I plan on doing a lot of Newport surf fishing this year, any suggestions?

You're in a very good area. I'm not a guru of newport but fish it every so often. In the spring the fish first move into second beach by sachuets bird sanctuary and the other corner where the surfers play.

Basically in Newport where there's water there may be fish.
