"Star Struck"

I know you guys are knowledgeable and handle this with some dignity, but my question is. On two successive cast, we hooked up on two starfish. Mind you the fly wasn't dredging the bottom. Is this unusual? Are they really that mobile in the water column? Or were we just in a blitz.

They move verrrry slowly. Maybe a high spot that your fly dredged through.

...sound like "4-weight" catch to me....but I never fished with the guy...I seem to recall a few similar posts last season or the year before :)
