Where Do I Fish In/Near Frankfurt, Germany?

Does anybody know? I heard that getting a fishing license here is like trying to train the French to win a war: it's impossible.

I'll be in Hanau (near Frankfurt) for another week. I'm about ready to give up on this flyfishing quest.

Help! Anyone, please.

All I ask is for some Teutonic trout to rise to my fly; I'm not trying to refurbish the Maginot Line...

I can't help you. But if you do find anything out please post a response. I'm moving my family to Frankfurt for a year starting next March. I'll be looking for some fresh water fishing to help keep the Saltwater DT's at bay.
