Fly fished the Narrow River on Sunday. It was very slowyet I was able to stir up 4 small schoolies. I initially thought one was a trout yet it was too small. It's nice to see some of the smaller fish aroud. Fish were caught on a pink and white clouser- very productive on the Narrorow as well as a rather large herring type of deceiver. With the warmer weather it will hopfully pick up.
Good luck to all

Are you refering to the narrow river in Narragansett? Were you fishing from shore or boat? How have the crowds been?

I was fishing from shore on the Narrow River I believe you may be right it is in Narragansett. Becareful, the banks can be slippery. Fis the two outcroppings of rocks as well as the sandbars that edge the channel and the island. The bottom tends to be meddy. I saw one other person spin fishing. Herring like patters do work well. No big fish as of yet. Good luck.
