Through my expert angling and boating skills, I recently prop wrapped my 400 grain Streamer Express that I used on a 10 weight. Went to the fly shop and they didn't have the Streamer Express but instead, had a 375 grain Wet Tip Express. Can anyone tell me the difference and tell me experiences with performances with each? Thanks.

(actually looks like one has intermediate running line, the other floating running running line -- but I still would like to hear about experiences. thanks)

I have two of the Wet Tip Express lines, and I love them. They're great for shallow water and still presentations in deeper water. The floating line makes them a little funny though if you're trying horizontal presentations in deep water.

The floating portion of the line makes them work better for nymph fishing in streams since you only get the tip of the line down so the running line doesn't get down into the rocks.
