Took a shot & got out before the big blow. Hit Norton’s Point / Coney Island Beach about 6:30 (Nada) Headed south to the edge of Ambrose Channel (Nada) Hung out short of Buoy 6 looking for birds.(Already pretty snotty sea) About 7:30 birds were up in mass south & east of Breeze Pt Jetty. Headed off in that direction. A long slow and very wet trip. Setup the drift “Acres of Birds & Fish” and not another boat in sight. After catching a few fish on one long drift it was enough for me
Conditions went from Barely Fishable to “What am a Doing Here!” (#$119) in about 30 minutes. Decided to do the mature thing & look for safer fishing conditions. Headed back in shore tried the Round House, Coney Island Beaches (Nada). Headed home about 8:30 am. Birds still up at the jetty. Boy did it hurt to leaving those fish.
Sea Conditions when from 3-4 to 5-6 ft real quick. Wind 20 K+. Water temps still 55-56 deg. Will give it a try on Friday

Wind deffinately sucks. Rather fish in rain or snow than wind. Going out Friday, hope to see ya out there. If you want you can hail me on VHF 88A .
If it's windy like they predict, in am, I'll probably work schoolies in NY Harbor in shelter. Then head out to Coney Etc if it breaks. This weekend looks great light winds Sat & Sun. Gotta work Sat but fish beware Sunday I'm after you guys. --127-3-
