Mondays 11/21 Fishing conditions were prefect for a fly rod except the fish did-not know it!
Fished 6:30-AM to 3-PM. Hit Norton’s Point, Ambrose Channel ,Breeze Point & points East just short of Debbie Inlet Same story Lots of Marks but very very few Bass.
The 20 -30 minute mini blitz at Ambrose Channel accounted for only real action of the day. Marked fish all day but surface action was very short. Timed surface blitz’s 30-40 seconds to 3-minutes Frustrating.
Conditions Perfect:
Sea Conditions: Table Top Flat, Seawater Temp: 52 degree Water Clarity: 3-5 (at best ) Air Temp: 50 deg Skies: Over Cast,( little or no Sun) Visibility: easily 3-5 miles Conditions Perfect

Total 8+hrs on the water 3 bass to 26 inches but the ocean was beautiful.
Happy Thanksgiving to All :)

Thanks for the report. The weather sounds like it was a little better than what was predicted. I decided not to go because of the stuff that was to come in late in the day. It is puzzling why there are not more good bass available right now.

Next week I am going to do a single day at OC MD. Still a lot of blues but some bass too according to buds who have fished it.

Also getting ready to head south Dec 4-8 to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge & Tunnel. The big boys and gals are not there in numbers yet either, but are starting to drift in. Hopefully in another week they will show in force. It is a fish magnet this time of year.
