4 day weekend trip

I am planning to to take my son on a fish/dive vacation for his 18th b-day. We both got our dive certs last year but have not had a chance to dive together yet. We fish together all summer. Any suggestions for a 4 day trip, two days diving and two fishing? Was thinking of, but not limited to, Turks, Bahamas or Florida in January, February or March. Trying to keep the costs down as I have an older son in college plus two other younger ones.

All three places that you mentioned are great for diving and fishing. I am also a certified diver and charter captain. Although I have never dove in the Bahamas or the Turks I am sure the diving is good if not great. If it's the cost you are looking to keep down the I would say Florida. Here you can do some great sailfishin' that time of year and there are some great wreaks in the immediate area that are fun to dive. Although, the water sure is cold that time of year. The other thing to consder is if you are going to bring your wife with you. There is nothing to do in those islands except eat, sleep, fish, and dive. That may be great for you and your son but not your wife?
In Miami you can fish in the daytime, go have a great steak dinner and then go shopping or to the beach where there is alot of eye candy :eek: . I hope this helps and if you need help with some dive shops down here I can give you a number for a good one with some good technical divers.
