I looked around and counted all the rods I could find. I think I got them all. 67. Then I opened up the PVC tube that arrived today. Time to clean the bench and break out the thread for #68. And I bet I am a piker compared to some of you guys. Right now I can only think of 5 or 6 other rods that I need.
Sssh, don't tell the wife!

I love it!!!! All those rods and we still need another one.

I just did a finger count and hit 33...FLY RODS!! I most adamandtly do NOT need another one. Unless I decide to fish for big YF or BFT...........

I'm headed for the new Cabellas over in Austin for some real Christmas shopping.....for me!! I'll pick'er up a new pair of shoes while I'm at it and when she hits the ceiling as I'm backing up to the porch to unload my Christmas presents to myself I can defend myself by mentioning her shoe store in the closet......then toss her a pair of new SHOES and tell her to shut-up and open me a cold beer.
......and just what in hell are you gonna cook me for dinner tonite, sweetheart.........I'm hungry.

It isn't 68 yet, I have to wrap it first! --127-3-
Fortunately my wife understands my addiction and is very forgiving. But I am sure that there are many here with quite a few more than I have (you should see my basket of reels!)
How many rods do you actually use though? I think that this year I have probably used about 35 different rods with probably about 15 in regular rotation and 5 or 6 in very heavy rotation.

I do this for living and I only have about 12!!!! (they go quick to Ebay if they are not used allot) lets see- 2 XP's, 7 XI2's, 2 TFO bluewaters, 1 loomis mega, 1 rplx and 1 s3s.
