I know I'm now totally insane. (#$119) Fished today on Retired Army Colonel, Paul H's boat "Renegade" 26 cabin Parker.. Much more suited for the bad weather than my center console. Semi-heated cabin. `It was pretty crummy out most of the day but we managed to land 21 schoolie stripers in the NY Harbor. Plus I must have dropped another 20. Did hear the clammers yacking on VHF radio, that out by Fort Tilden area there was a mile of birds working. There was NO WAY we were gonna run there in that weather. Also yesterday, in those gale winds a friend of a friend , who makes me look sane, claims he had bass under birds for 4 straight hours all 10--20 pounds off Sea Girt NJ. Claims the land blocked the west winds and fish were close to shore. Attaching picture of boat snow covered before we left. And the Colonel with a small schoolie in the harbor. Hope mother nature gives us a break soon. Tight Lines!!

How far is Sea Girt from Breezy, or how much further than shrewsbury Rocks? will attch photos tomorrow.

Brendan,
Sea Girt is just North of Manasquan Inlet. Probably 16 miles or so south of the "Rocks". There were 10" herring and all the bass you could catch there this morning...

Had a good day today with lotsa Herring and Gannets but again not many big fish. flat calm, cold as ****e, cool visuals, only boat for 4 hours till the poachers showed up and bailed em for 2 hours. had to have taken 60-80 shorts that we saw. total degenerate scum. left another message you know where.. here are the shots from yesterday. none from today as we barely got a few keepers. sweet though

Great pictures, nice fish as always! Your always on top of em'. It's quite a run out there for me, but might have to give it a shot on Sunday. We used to get a few poachers in the Harbor and East Rivers years ago. Haven't seen them lately. One told them, "hey there is a size and catch limit!". They just ignored me. Just hoping for a break in the weather. Mark
